Oshiomhole a first class scam – NBA secretary Barr. Obade

The Ekpoma branch of Nigerian Bar Association, NBA has reacted to the sudden scrapping of Customary Court of Appeal by the state governor, Adams Oshiomhole.

The secretary to the association (Ekpoma branch) , Barr. Prince Alex I. Obade, who spoke with CENTER NEWS described the decision as anti-people, adding that there was no input from the NBA before such decision was carried out through Edo State House of Assembly.

He said ” My take is that it’s totally wrong because Customary Law is an integral part of Nigeria Legal system, that allows for Customary arbitration, if matters of Custom is decided one way or the other, I believe the unsatisfied party has right of appeal, and that is the role of. C C A. This right is constitutional, and can not be impeached.

I want to believe there was no input from the association. It will certainly generate public interest Litigation, to challenge the government, possible reversal of the decision”
Barr. Obade described the decision as rash and people friendly, adding that “Edo state Government can not get far with this volatile decision as the state enjoys ambiance of ancient culture, Custom n tradition.

First tenure, to be fair to him, his performance rating by me, if am so empowered will be 60 percent pas mark. Second tenure, he has 8 carry over out of ten. He became a pathological liar of international repute. We can never have the kind of Ambrose Alli. Again, so selfless, humble and committed to adding Value to life of the down trodden”
